Did you think, for a second there, that he wasn't gonna have a scar? 'cause I totally freaked out 'til they showed it.

I... don't know? I kind of expected it to be... not there. But it was. And... :(
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 03:13 am (UTC)
There were a ton of feels this episode.

There were.

So many. ;_;

I started crying once we got to Simmons...

And then at the end were lots of happy feelings. :D
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 03:35 am (UTC)
Oh god, me too.

She totally got yelled at by dad, though (which made me smile).

He has! ♥ ♥

Fitz was pretty boss this ep, too. He was gonna take care of his partner, come hell or high water.

Also, Coulson going "you're breaking up" to Blake. ♥

Ward also doing an impression of himself was hilarious.

And that part at the beginning. XD
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 04:14 am (UTC)
So, in conclusion: this episode is a win.
Lenre Li: The Avengers - MR red plaiduniversaldogma on November 6th, 2013 04:16 am (UTC)
That is correct. :D

Have you seen Thor 2 yet? I haven't... but the Thor part isn't really my favourite part of the MCUverse...
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 04:23 am (UTC)
I'm going to see it Friday/Saturday with some friends.

Thor is in the middle for me. I like some others more, some others less.

I only caught Thor because it was on TV once... but apparently the sequel's gonna be influencing the next SHIELD episode. XD Maybe I should read up on it.

I like Thor the least, I'm sorry to say. I do like the character of Thor, because he's awesome, but the movies.... eh. It probably doesn't help that I don't like Loki.
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 04:30 am (UTC)
I heard that, too.

I don't care for Loki either.

For me, Cap is my least favorite (which I know is an unpopular opinion). I like him, just, I have some lingering issues from when I first saw him.
Lenre Li: The Avengers - JR blueuniversaldogma on November 6th, 2013 04:34 am (UTC)
The first time I saw Loki... he killed Coulson. So you can see why I don't like him. And I don't see why the background the Thor movie gave him should excuse him from what happened in the Avengers, even if some people say he wasn't really himself. I'm good at holding grudges, that too.

What kind of issues? :D
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 04:43 am (UTC)
The first time I saw any of these guys, it was in the Avengers.

So, to me, Cap came off as kind of a really big jerk. And yeah, he got somewhat better by the end of the movie, but that's still kinda the way I see him. Fanfic's helped a lot, and I do like him, just, I like the others better.

I agree with you about Loki. Just because you feel like you've had shitty things done to you, doesn't mean you have to do shitty things yourself (look at Clint and Bruce and Tony).
Lenre Li: The Avengers - Cap flamesuniversaldogma on November 6th, 2013 04:50 am (UTC)
I saw IM and CA before, but they didn't really get on my radar until The Avengers. XD Heh. I still haven't seen the Incredible Hulk either.

Yeah, getting frozen for about 70 years and having to fight another war and getting used to a whole different time would make anyone a jerk...

Yep. That's the way I see it.

Which is why some of the OUAT fandom pisses me off. Villains with tragic backstories everywhere, and their hardcore fans waving it off. Or excusing it. Or blaming the heroes.

What the fuck.

I don't get it.

I could get the "I like you as a crazy psycho villain" route, but the "they're actually an angel who was abused and mistreated!!! They deserve love! ANd HAPPINESS!!" route makes me want to hurt someone.

... Uh. Sorry about the tangent. XD
isisanubis on November 6th, 2013 04:58 am (UTC)
Apparently both of the previous Hulk movies weren't that good. they should've just gone with Ruffalo from the start

The tangent was fine. If you like a bad guy, then like them for being a bad guy, if they have a tragic backstory or if they're just super evil, embrace it. I get where you're coming from. Where someone comes from might influence what they do, but it doesn't excuse or redeem it.
Lenre Li: The Avengers - Bruce coloursuniversaldogma on November 6th, 2013 05:12 am (UTC)

Exactly! :D

And in most of these stories, the heroes get as tragic backstories as the villains!

What exactly makes the villain so special of your empathy, while you scorn or ignore the heroes and their backstory? The vocal minority of the OUAT fandom is very fucked up.
