Money tonight! :D Yay!

The latest Doctor Who was awesome. It may be my favourite S7 episode... Four for you, Neil Cross. XD

Uhhhh. I'm running low on Reese's? ;_; I have my miniatures, yes, and then some snack sized Pieces and white choc Reese's. And then some 2-pack Big Reese's and some 4-pack of the normal Reese's. *sighs* Why can't I just have unlimited Reese's...

I've also been watching lots of anime. Again. The finale for part 2 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure was on today. ;_; I'll miss you, Joseph and Lisa Lisa. And part 3 airs... sometime in the future. And I've been rewatching Persona 4: The Animation, because it's awesome.

Also saw the first episodes of Devil Survivor 2: The Animation, which is awesome. And Shingeki no Kyojin which is... interesting? The Titans are terrifying, so that's a plus. :D OH! And I also watched all the Love Live! School Idol Project, which is also awesome. Such a cute little anime~

I didn't totally like tonight's episode, and I am wondering if it is because I am changing or it is changing. Also it could be that I am watching it on a little laptop screen. Perhaps watching it on a big screen with big sound would make the epic seem more epic.

Well, there were parts I DID like about it. I was really impressed with how much work they did on the alien costuming and prosthetics, etcetera.

I guess what I didn't like is there are things that are starting to feel like a formula now. The first few times we had the Doctor give big speeches about who he was, was dramatic. This time, it seems a bit...cheesy?

Hshsh, I can understand that. XD I did like this speech though. Matt Smith killed it~

I'd like to see the Doctor talk down another MOTW though. Happiness Patrol style. *_*

... Now I feel like watching the Happiness Patrol again...

I still like Matt Smith's acting! I can't imagine a bad actor having to deal with such corny scripts.

But just compare how serious the "Noone Human Has Anything to Say to Me Today!" speech in The Beast Below with the schmaltzy speech he gives here. I know Who is about escapism often, but this just felt too light and melodramatic.

Yeah, they do need to work on the speeches a bit. Like the epic one in the Pandorica episode. It was epic, and in the context of the show, it was wrong~

I loved tonight's episode! I <3 Eleven. :3 I still miss Amy and Rory, but they did pick a good new companion with Clara, she's just so cute. :3
